Allow us to introduce ourselves: We are Annette and Kathy. Together we have over 50 years of crocheting Afghans. Crocheting is our passion; we enjoy the serenity it brings us personally and what better way of sharing it with you than for the sweet innocent child new to our great world. Some of our Afghans come from patterns, others just seem to appear from the yarn. Each Baby Afghan blanket is made with Tender Loving Care (TLC)! A year ago, we decided to share our love for these soft, cuddly Afghans, so here is “Afghans by Us.”
What Is An Afghan?
You've never seen a baby afghan? Oh, my! Well, let us explain.
Our Baby Afghans are hand-crocheted throws or blankets; made from soft, gentle types of yarn. Some are tightly woven and incredibly warm. Others are lacy, decorative, and elegant. Many are multi colored, while others are only a few or single colors. These make excellent wraps, baby blankets, or even lap warmers. Coverlets are smaller and better suited to strollers, infant carriers, car seats and the perfect tote-around blankie."

All our Baby Afghan blankets and Baby Quilts/Coverlets are hand crafted in a smoke-free environment. Our Afghans/Quilts are pre-washed on a cold delicate cycle and tumble-dried on low temperature setting. These are the recommended “Care and Maintenance” instructions to help maintain their softness and brilliance. Rest assured, no small stuffed animals were harmed during the picture-taking of these blankets
